Choosing a learning environment for one’s child is a big step and involves many considerations. Does the home agree with the approach and philosophy of the school? Do parents share and agree with what the school stands for? Can we work together in the interest of the child?
We are happy to welcome children and parents who appreciate our philosophy and approach to learning. We suggest a visit so that you can see our campus firsthand and interact with a member of the faculty. To plan such a visit, parents may contact +91 9663535186 or email enquiries@headstart.edu.in
Our admissions process is transparent. Selection is based entirely on our ability to meet the needs of the child. We do not entertain external pressure, political or otherwise and any attempts to influence/pressurise admission decisions through letters and/or calls on behalf of applicants will not be appreciated.
All application processes are done online exclusively via our Admissions Portal. We do not issue hard copies of our Application Forms.
Interested parents are requested to study the online application procedure and maintain deadlines. All forms are reviewed by our Admissions Committee following which parents are updated regarding the status of the application.
Fees are to be paid only after admission has been offered.
Grades 1 to 3 (Primary Montessori School)
Our Primary Programme comprising Grades 1, 2 and 3 follows the principles of Montessori methodology. Each environment (classroom) has a mixed age group of children from the ages of 6 to 9.
A large number of parents have expressed their interest in this programme. We welcome parents who align with out philosophy and believe in collaboration between the home and the school.
Grades 4 to 9
Children transitioning from our Primary Programme continue their learning with us till High School. Very occasionally a vacancy may arise. Under such circumstances it might be possible to offer admission to a child from another school.
Grades 11 and 12 - AS & A Levels and ISC
Our programmes for Grades 11 and 12 are rigorous ones, providing both challenge and opportunity for in-depth research and study.
Admission Policies
Online Application Process
- Online Applications for admission are made available exclusively on our Admissions Portal. We do not issue hard copies of our Application Forms.
- You will receive periodic updates regarding the status of your application.
Parent/School Interaction
The first step is to get to know each other and this happens through an interaction between interested parents and us. We also like to interact independently with the children applying. This enables us to understand their interests, their uniqueness and learning styles. It is imperative that both parents and child are in agreement with our approach and philosophy. Admissions are finalised based on these interactions and communicated via email.
Enrolment
Once admission has been granted, parents will be requested to complete the required formalities within a specified period of time to confirm the admission.
Fees
Fees for the academic year are required to be paid as per the prescribed schedule.
