Overview > Play
Play is important - it defines the intrinsic nature of children, and learning and play belong together. Through play children learn about life, gain an understanding of the world around them, relate to concepts and their place in physical space, and find connectivity with people and the environment.
Children are introduced to Physical Education from Grade 1. They are exposed to various activities that include running, jumping, catching, eye-hand coordination, and other forms of movement. Movement is essential for all round development and facilitates learning, not just for the body, but also for the mind and the emotions. Spatial awareness, harmony with the environment, a feeling of wellbeing and fitness are all enhanced through sport, keeping in mind individual interests and ability.
We offer a wide range of sports such as football, basketball, hockey, cricket, athletics and much more.
